Importa\ft \fote to pare\fts:
\bransfor\fers and power supply units are not suitable to be used as
toys. \bhe use of such products needs to be constantly supervised
by the parents.
• Regularly check the track, cars and charger for da\fage to cables,
plugs and housings!\C Replace defective parts.
• \bhe car racetrack is not suitable for outdoor operation or operation
in wet locations! Keep away fro\f liquids.
• Do not place any \fetal parts onto the track to avoid short-circuits.
Do not place the track in the i\f\fediate vicinity of delicate objects,
as these could be \Cda\faged by cars hurled fro\f the track.
• Pull the plug before cleaning the racetrack! Only use a da\fp cloth
for cleaning, no solvents or che\ficals. When it is not in use, store
the track in a dry and dust-protected location, preferably in the origi-
nal cardboard box.
• Do not operate race track at face- or eye-level – risk of injury due
to cars being catapulted off the track.
• Misuse of transfor\fer can cause elect\Crical shock.

Carrera DIGITAL 13\b
Carrera DIGITAL 13\bEVOLUTION
Please note that Evolution (analog syste\f) and Carrera DIGI-
\bAL 132 (digital syste\f) involve two separate and co\fpletely inde-
pendent syste\fs. We hereby expressly indicate that both syste\fs
\fust be kept separate when setting up the track, i.e. no connec\Cting
rail fro\f Evolution \fay be used together with the connecting rail
and Black Box of the Carrera DIGI\bAL 132, even if only one of the
two connecting rails (Evolution connecting rail or Carrera DIGI-
\bAL 132 connecting rail and Black Box) is attached to the current
supply. Further\fore, no other Carrera DIGI\bAL 132 co\fponents
(switches, electronic lap counter, Pit Lane) \fay be built into an Evo-
lution course, i.e. via analo\Cg operation.
Non-co\fpliance with the above infor\fation \fay result in da\fage
or destruction of the respective Carrera DIGI\bAL 132 co\fponents.
In this case no warranty \fay be clai\fed.
WIRELESS+ is the latest new cordless racetrack delight for Carrera
DIGI\bAL124 and Carrera DIGI\bAL 132. \bhe 2.4 GHz radio technolo-
gy with frequency-hopping is free of interference and offers a range
of up to 15 \fetres. \bhanks to powerful lithiu\f poly\fer rechargeable
battery, continuous play for up to eight hours is possible and stand-
by operation for over 80 days. WIRELESS+ offers cordless freedo\f
for up to six drivers at the racetrack.
Before first use
Before first using the speed controller, the rechargeable battery
supplied \b \fust be inserted in the controller. Unscrew the battery
co\fpart\fent 1 on the underside of the speed controller.
Connect the battery plug into the socket in the speed controller and
put the battery in place in the \Cco\fpart\fent. Finally screw down the
cover of the battery co\fpart\fent again. \bhe battery is part-loaded
at the factory, but it should be charged co\fpletely before being
used for the first ti\fe.
Care of the battery
\bo \fake sure the battery perfor\fs well for as long as possible, the
following points should \Cbe observed regarding its care and storage.
• Before first using the\f, new batteries should always be charged
• With a fully-charged battery, continuous play is possible for up
to eight hours. When the battery power is falling off, range of the
speed controller will di\finish. As soon as you notice this, the battery
should be fully recharged.
• If it is not to be used for an extended period, re\fove the battery
and store the controller at roo\f te\fperature (16-18 °C) in a dry
place. \bo prevent a deep discharge of the battery, the stored battery
should be charged every 2 to 3 \fonths.
3 Before asse\fbling please insert the connecting clips
in the track as shown in figure 1. Stick tracks together on a flat
base. Move the connecting clips according to figure \b in direction
of the arrow until they audibly snap in. \bhe connecting clip \fay also
be inserted later. \bhe connecting clips can be re\foved into both
directions by si\fply pressing down the cla\fped nose (see fig.
4 Faste\fi\fg: \bo fasten the track sections on a board, it is neces-
sary to use the track section fasteners (Ite\f no. 85209, not con-
tained in the package).
Carpeting is not a suitable foundation on which to build the track be-
cause of static charging, for\fation of fluff and r\Ceady infla\f\fability.
\bhe Position \bower
is suitably connected to the shoulder con-
necting section F or to the Adapter Unit ; the latter can be posi-
tioned at any place within the\C racetrack.
Guard Rails and Suppo\urts
1 Guard rails: Guard rail \founts are fitted by tilting the\f upwards
onto the verge of the track.
3 Supporti\fg raised sectio\fs: \bhe shank of the ball pivot is
to be inserted into the square slots provided on the underside of the
track. \bhe supports can be \fade higher by using the extensions.
\bhe pedestal of the supports can be screwed to a base if required
(screws not included).
4 Supporti\fg steep curves:
Slanting supports of the right height are provided to support steep
curves. Fix the nonadjustable supports at the beginning and end of
the curves. Insert the heads of the supports in the round slots of the
underside of the track.
1 Connect the transfor\fer plug with the Co\Cntrol Unit.
Note: \bo avoid short-circuits and electrocution, the toy \fay not be
connected using foreign devices, plugs, cables or other objects for -
eign to this toy. \bhe Carrera DIGI\bAL 132 car racetrack only works
properly with an original \CCarrera DIGI\bAL 132 transfor\fer.
\bhe PC interface (PC Unit) \fay only be operated together with the
original Carrera PC Unit.
