Before start-up, note the following:
The pump can be connected to any

setup or servicing

possible. Do not install the pump
lower than the pool water level. The
location of the pump in relation to the
pool water level will affect the speed
at which the pump can move water.

long priming times, and potentially
damage the pump.
Allow enough space around the pump
for routine maintenance access.
Provide for adequate floor drainage
so the pump will not be affected
should flooding occur.
Do not locate the pump within 10
ft. of pool chemical storage or other
corrosive materials. Pool chemical
fumes and spills are corrosive and
can damage pump components.
When installing the pump, provide
valves or other connections that
allow you to easily disconnect and
reconnect the pump suction and
discharge tubing for servicing. All
piping and fittings must conform to
local and state plumbing and sanitary

possible pipe length and the fewest
elbows as possible to maximize
efficiency and flow.
Make sure the suction line is free of
air traps and that the piping is the
same size as the inlet of the pump.

Filter Reservoir to cool down before
opening the Filter Lid.
